The Gun Violence Archive has counted at nearly 700 mass shootings in 2022 and the United States has more mass shootings than any other country. Some studies indicate that the rate at which public mass shootings occur has tripled since 2011, leaving us desensitized. CKDC’s spring concert questions some of the contributing factors to this plague on our country including high access to guns, low access to mental health as well as sociocultural factors. Join us for a sobering, but important discussion through movement this spring.
