Sydney is relatively new to the world of dance. She did ballet for a few years in elementary school, but pursued band, cross country, and track and field throughout high school and some of college. Throughout her childhood and early adult life, Sydney has always had a deep appreciation for dance and all of the beauty that surrounded it. So, as an adult she took her first adult ballet classes at COCA performing arts in St. Louis, MO. Wanting to expand and explore more styles, she began taking contemporary and hip hop drop-in adult classes at CKDC. After taking classes for a while, she expressed interest in apprenticing at CKDC. She is so excited for this opportunity to continue to learn and grow as a dancer, and can't wait to see what the future holds.
