CKDC's Fall Concert, Stasis was conceptualized to celebrate a state of rest and normalcy in the company following a period of change. Since preparing for the concert, CKDC has been faced with even more changes than they could have imagined. Stasis looks at new adaptations on the concept including ways to reach Stasis in periods of turmoil. Works for Stasis will involve the use of multimedia including installations, graphics, film and other interactive elements. Featuring premiere work by Founder, Artistic and Executive Director, Arica Brown. Also featuring premiere choreography by Assistant Artistic and Executive Director, Ashreale McDowell. Introducing debut choreography by Associate Director, Kat Norton alongside Resident Choreographers Sam Gaitsch, Rafael Tillery and Jordan Woods. Also featuring Guest Choreographers David Marchant, Rob Scoggins and Ashley Yang.
