CLASSES FOR ADULTS, TAUGHT BY ADULTS

CKDC offers a wide variety of dance classes to the public for every age and every technical level. CKDC is the only professional dance company in the St. Louis area that specializes in open level drop-in classes for busy adults. By offering a flexible curriculum, we strengthen the practice of dance and further our mission of exposing movement as a healing art.

There are no leveled classes at CKDC. We focus on artistry and creativity over technique in our classrooms, however classes do incorporate technique. Our talented staff of teaching artists offer modifications for people who have no dance experience while simultaneously offering variations for experienced dancers. Our classes are drop-in by design which means that even if you attend a class where the teacher has already taught the choreography, the entire piece will be taught again, from the beginning. Attend regularly to set goals and work toward new accomplishments or attend as your schedule allows for a great workout and challenge.
