Olivia Perez | Company Dancer
Olivia is a versatile dancer, educator, and choreographer who enjoys performing and training in concert and commercial styles of dance. Born and raised in the St. Louis area, she has studied dance for over 18 years and is a graduate of Webster University with a BA in Media Communications, where she was the first-ever recipient of the school’s prestigious Donald M. Suggs academic scholarship. She has won dance scholarships to Broadway Dance Center, the D(n)A Arts Collective Workshop, and the Pulse on Tour dance convention where she is a winner of the Protégé award. She is also a National Dance Alliance and Universal Dance Association All-American Dancer. Most recently, she trained under Dana Foglia in New York at her exclusive heels intensive.
Olivia has danced professionally with Ashleyliane Dance Company and currently performs with Consuming Kinetics Dance Company. She has performed in pieces by Kameron N. Saunders, Arica Brown, Ashley L. Tate, Lynn M. Bobzin, James W. Robey and more. She was a featured dancer in Imagination, a music video by local recording artist Bloom and was featured in an online promotion for Komblu Kombucha. Perez has also danced backup for Runaground at Pridefest STL and for Paige Alyssa at An Undercover Weekend music festival, where she choreographed a Janet Jackson tribute set.
Olivia has taught at numerous studios and creative organizations in the St. Louis area. Her choreography has been performed by Consuming Kinetics Dance Company, Edwardsville High School Dance Team, at an NCAA Division 1 basketball halftime at St. Louis University, Fox 2 News and at the St. Louis Dance Festival.
