MIKAYLA MAINS
Mikayla discovered dance at age 12 taking ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and tumbling. After gaining experience, Mikayla and her sisters switched studios to further their training and began to learn contemporary dance as well. She danced competitively up until age 18 and then studied dance briefly at University of Central Missouri. She began teaching at age 19 and choreographing at age 23. Her dances have won many awards across many competitions but her favorite part of teaching will always be fostering the love and discipline of dance with the next generation. She believes in being a forever student so she continues to take classes and training opportunities regularly so her knowledge and experience always continues growing. She is so excited to have the opportunity to dance with CKDC and all its talented faculty
